Mutual Fund Breakpoint Search Tool – Researching Breakpoint Schedules

An investor now has the ability to determine if a mutual fund that has a front-end sales charge offers discounts for larger investments. The discounts that may be available are called "breakpoints." The FINRA has developed the Mutual Fund Breakpoint Search Tool to search for “breakpoint” schedules and linkage information of mutual funds with front-end sales charges to ensure that investors are provided discounts where applicable. The tool enables a search to be performed of NSCC’s Mutual Fund Profile database for key information related to mutual fund sales charges.
