Jim brings valuable experience and expertise to our institutional fixed income sales team. He first forayed in to the financial world as a tax accountant for Arthur Andersen and has since gained experience as management director of Cantor Fitzgerald, in the Municipal Debt Capital Markets Division, as CEO and founding partner of Alta Capital Group and senior vice president of Institutional Fixed Income Sales for Lehman Bros.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in economics. He is the former president of the Hamilton/Wenham Education Fund and a former board member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Scholarship Fund. He has enjoyed over 30 years of marriage to his wife Sherrilyn and has two beautiful daughters, Kyley and Julia. He enjoys hiking, painting and playing golf.
